Let’s Plant Meat is a plant-based meat alternative startup from Chiang Mai, Thailand, creating tasty meat in a clever, healthy way while aiming to help the planet. PM2.5 air pollution was created by the burning corn fields for animal’s food. Let’s Plant Meat has a variety of comfort food for good health in a bunch of meat flavors from burger patties to meatballs. Every product is made of soy, rice, coconut, and beetroot, which lends a meaty texture that pulls apart just like the real thing.
Before changing the world with Let’s Plant Meat, Mr. Smith, a food entrepreneur from Chiang Mai, was inspired to go on a reading quest to learn more about connection between food and health. He took great interest in the fact that plant-based diets are associated with a lower risk of sicknesses like cancer and heart disease. Out of curiosity, he became a vegetarian in 2018 to see how his health would improve, and to see for himself how hard it would be to embrace a plant-based lifestyle. Boring, of course – only vegetables and protein sources from tofu or mushrooms were available. Mr. Smith saw possibilities outside the Vegan’s normal realm, creating options for himself which also help reduce the air pollution.
