From the Cocoon is where the brand started. There’s SO much that we can do with the coCOON, hence the name SOCOON. The empty silk cocoons are used in creating beautiful decorative items, always dyed with natural colors. SOCOON’s signature products are made by stitching many cocoons together, becoming one of a kind master pieces from nature. SOCOON’s unique designs and tried-and-tested techniques have enabled the transformation of shapes of hundreds of cocoons that are agile and can be twisted, creating notable decorations that add to the atmosphere of any space. It is a proud creation of Saraburi province in Thailand that is great for own use but also makes for great gifts.
Kittisak Kajornpai’s vision started it all. Seeing empty silk cocoons discarded without further use, so much beauty going to waste.. something sparked. He returned to his community in Saraburi and began experimenting with cocoons. From that day, SOCOON has come up with endless creations from key rings to lamp shades, to handbags and accessories. There’s so much creation possible and it’s all from the cocoon.
